Web Sites:

A Web Site can be a source of pride for the business owner. t

Web Site design can be very simple or very complex. The general public is always screaming for simple web sites. Navigation and load time are the two most important issues when creating a web site.

Navigation:

The opening page of your web site is always the key to good navigation. An opening page must be clean, easy to read, and communicate in no uncertain terms the content of your web site If your opening page tends to lead people two and three pages away, through links, the overwhelming majority of people will lose interest quickly and leave your site. One way of keeping people interested in your site is to create a frames home page. This gives people a chance to browse many pages without having to leave your home page.

Load Time:

The speed at which your web site's home page loads is very important. The general public doesn't wait around for a page to load up that's covered in pictures and run-time movies. If you have lots of products to sell on your site, the time to show the public is later. A short banner, logo, and menu are all the time you want to spend having your site come up. If you repeat a picture, that's ok, because it still only takes the time to load once. In other words, home pages are most effective when they're as simple as possible, although you still want to get the entire content or purpose of your site across to the consumer on your home page.
